35th Festival of Migration, Cultures and Citizenship

For the 35th Festival of Migration, Cultures and Citizenship, organized by CLAE on 2nd to 4th March, there will be, this year again, more than 400 stands, meetings, debates, conferences, concerts, literature, gastronomy and multiple cultural and social expressions that exist daily in Luxembourg.

This intercultural event is a "huge celebration of conviviality, friendship and citizenship". It gathers every year Luxembourg's different migrant communities. The objective is to trace the history of these migrations as well as to exchange, share, and bring cultures together.

On this occasion, the non-profit organization Time 4 Equality, signatory of the Diversity Charter Lëtzebuerg, organize a round table on the new forms of slavery on March 3 at 17h. Speakers will discuss illegal exploitation at work, human trafficking and new forms of slavery.

The new challenges of migration in Europe as well as the theme of climate refugees will also be discussed during the debates organized during this weekend which celebrates Luxembourg's cultural diversity.

Entry to the festival is free (donations are welcome). You will find the complete program here.
