A city for all: the objective of the City of Luxembourg
The 8th edition of the Weeks of Awareness of Specific Needs, led by the City's Participatory Committee and organized in collaboration with many concerned associations and partners, will take place from 27 April to 12 June 2019.
A better knowledge of the other can open many doors: the exchange between people with special needs and the general public as well as overcoming the fear of the other are at the heart of this initiative. The aim of these awareness weeks is to enable participants to create links between themselves and thus encourage a better and sustainable common life within the city of Luxembourg.
A myriad of information stands, activities, conferences, film screenings and exhibitions will give you a better understanding of the daily life and needs of the people involved. As in previous years, meals in the dark will also be on the agenda again. (May 2, 8, 23 and 28 and June 5)
This year's highlights are: the action and sports day at Place d'Armes on May 18 and of course the traditional "Inclusion" gala on June 7.
