Grand H: call for translating volunteers

In contrast to "I'm not a refugee", the "Grand H" documentary proposes a different angle and perspective: the look and feelings of the people who accompany the displaced. The conflict between the "system" - migration policy and its governance - and Humanity will be addressed. An issue that is therefore urgently needed and which remains unavoidable, knowing that migration will intensify in the coming years, when Europe is gradually closing its borders.

Grand H is a series of selected interviews which allows to build a narrative rhythm, and to give the floor to:

  • very committed citizens who will testify about their experience of welcoming their protégé in their home, their motivations, their "limits", their disappointments with the system, but also the beautiful stories.
  • civil society professionals (teacher, psychologist, lawyer and activists) whose commitment exceeds working hours by far, but also the usual personal involvement. These people will describe their daily life, their work on the field, but especially their feelings about the violence of the system migration policy system, their way of protecting themselves (or not), their disillusionment, their struggle to seek Humanity day after day, humanity, their relation to the system.
  • Jean Asselborn, who embodies this "system" will answer the questions from civil society and people on the field via the interview.

In order to finalise the editing Frédérique Buck is launching a call for volunteer translators for translations into: Luxembourgish-French & English / English-French / French -English.
