INTERNATIONAL DAY OF WOMEN'S RIGHTS: THE TOUR OF EVENTS

Formalized by the United Nations in 1977, the "International Women's Rights Day" is a day when women are recognized for their achievements, regardless of divisions, be they national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic or political.
Many municipalities and organizations which signed the Charter of Diversity or not, invite you to events to mark the importance of this day.
- The municipality of Bettembourg pays homage to women through various film events that will take place throughout the month of March. You will find the program here.
- The municipality of Dudelange, meanwhile, offers various workshops, exhibitions and other for all ages, the detailed program is varied.
- The municipalities are not alone in mobilizing, the CID-Femmes with the platform JIF organizes its traditional feminist and cultural festival on March 11 in neimënster with multiple workshops, games, exhibitions and concerts to mobilize all ages and raise awereness on gender.
On March 8, the JIF platform organizes a major public action at the Place d'Armes (12h-14h) - the equality constructions sites - to make visible the work that remains to be done in terms of equality.
