May 20, 2021: a date that falls within the European Diversity Month.

The European Diversity Month raises awareness of the importance of diversity andinclusion in our workplaces and in the society throughout the whole European Union. The European Platform for Diversity Charters now covers 26 national diversity charters, representing more than 12,000 signatory organizations and more than 16 million employees. 

In Luxembourg, any organization on the national territory can join the Diversity Day. To participate, the organization has to define an action theme, preferably directly or indirectly related to the organization's core business and submit it on the Diversity Charter website before April 22, 2021. The actions carried out by the organizations are all listed on the Diversity Charter website. 

Back on the Diversity Day preparation workshop

In this context, IMS organized its #DiversityDay21 preparation workshop on March 2nd. With more than 90 participants from Luxembourg companies and organizations, this online event allowed for collective reflection on the actions to be taken for the next national diversity day.

Participants exchanged ideas to draw the first outlines of events to implement and promote diversity within their organizations. To inspire the entire group, testimonials illustrated last year's actions.

A new action kit was shared with all participants. It contains examples of face-to-face and digital actions to adapt to the current health situation
