Presentation of CLICHÉ, a digital platform on migration and living together

The Œuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte, the Centre d'éducation interculturelle - IKL and ASTI are pleased to invite you to a press conference to present the new digital platform on January 27, 2020 at 9:30 am.

At the origin of CLICHÉ are the photographs of Ann Sophie Lindström, Patrick Galbats and Sébastien Cuvelier, commissioned by the Work, to document the plurality of projects that emerged through the call for projects mateneen launched in the context of themigration wave in 2015.

As its name suggests, CLICHÉ uses photographs to treat the multiplicity of stories aboutmigration and living together. The goal is to raise awareness among young people and a wider public about the relationship between identity and otherness in our multicultural community by linking artistic activities to societal issues. The CLICHÉ platform offers pedagogical and artistic tools, texts, testimonials, films, lexicon, projects carried out by groups of young people, school classes, committed individuals who inspire others to better grasp the countless facets of a complex and nuanced reality, often apprehended in the form of clichés.

The main assets of this participatory project are the interactivity, reactivity and transdisciplinarity between the different actors such as :

- the artists,
- writers, historians and other experts,
- teachers, educators,
- pupils/students, youth
- and the general public.
