In mid-June 2019 and until the beginning of July, the Ministry of Equality between women and men launched a call for residents and all those active on the Luxembourg labour market to give their opinion ongender equality issues. A public consultation thus mobilizes:  "At work, at school, at home, in public life - Let's makegender equality a daily reality. »

Through an online questionnaire, participants are invited to express their views on the challenges and concrete ways to achieve real equality between women and men on a daily basis.

Open-ended and multiple-choice questions concern:

• equal pay;
• the fight againstharassment;
• the participation of women and men in decision-making positions;
• the influence of stereotypes;
• a more equitable sharing of household tasks.

 

Anonymously formulated answers are listed by a research and survey company. They will feed into political discussions with a view to drawing up the new national action plan for equality (NAP Equality). To make equality a reality at all levels, this public consultation brings together and identifies collective priorities.
