Our signatory, ASTI (Association de Soutien aux Travailleurs Immigrés) is looking for women from France, Belgium and Germany who are cross-border commuters to collect testimonies that will be used to write a documentary theatre play which will be directed by Sophie Langevin at the Théâtre d'Esch in June 2020. This research concerns women who work in maintenance and sales, but also in the private sector as managers or assistants.
Based on testimonies from cross-border commuters, the film director Sophie Langevin presents the words of women who routinely cross the borders of the Grand Duchy in the morning and evening.
The interviews will take place during the month of June 2019 (date and place to be agreed according to your availability).
The testimonies collected will be treated strictly anonymously. If you are interested in participating or have any questions, please contact :
- Sophie Langevin (film director) : firstname.lastname@example.org
- Christophe Sohn (researcher at LISER, border specialist) : email@example.com
- Claire Wagener (collaborator in German and Luxembourg-language staging) firstname.lastname@example.org
The project "Les frontières - Terra Incognita" is produced by the theatre of Esch and the Compagnie du Grand Boube, with the support of the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER) and the Association de Soutien aux Travailleurs Immigrés (ASTI).
