The screening of the film Extranostro
When? October 17, 2019, at 7pm
Where? Kinosch (Kulturfabrik)
ExtraNostro, the first European Afro-queer web series, addresses the theme of homosexual relations, telling the story of people of African origin living in Europe. Director Kis Keya has chosen a light and humorous tone to approach the theme. Kis Keya uses art to fightdiscrimination: "I hope with this series to allow young people here in Europe and Africa to see themselves on the screen finally. Not to think we're alone or sick anymore. And if possible, to make some families understand that their children, brothers, and sisters are "normal."
The screening of the film will be followed by a discussion in the presence of the director Kis Keya and the actor Karim Camara, who plays the role of Bibiche.
