In line with our ongoing commitment to Diversity, Equity &inclusion (DE&I), LuxCMA has launched a new initiative titled "Voices of Capital Markets", which aims to give a voice to professionals from Luxembourg’s capital markets sector to share their experiences and reflections on diversity andinclusion.
Through short, personal testimonials (1-2 minutes), participants will share their experiences, challenges, and perspectives on diversity andinclusion. This initiative aims to showcase the diverse backgrounds, unique journeys, and shared commitment to fostering an inclusive financial ecosystem. Participants will share personal insights across various diversity dimensions, including but not limited to:
•Gender diversity
•Intergenerational inclusion
•Cultural diversity and expat experiences
•Neurodiversity and disabilityinclusion •LGBTQ+ representation in finance
•Other personal or professional experiences related toinclusion.
Our members have been invited to reflect on pivotal moments in their careers—challenges, achievements, advice for future generations—and how these experiences relate to diversity andinclusion. To support participants, we have developed a filming guide with key questions and recommendations for each diversity theme.
Several LuxCMA members have already confirmed their participation, including EY Luxembourg, Loyens & Loeff, Elvinger Hoss Prussen, Simmons & Simmons, BSP, the Luxembourg Stock Exchange, and PwC Luxembourg, among others. The final format (one consolidated video or a series of themed videos) will depend on the number and variety of contributions received by the set deadline of 30 April.
The first release will go live on Diversity Day, 15 May 2025, via LuxCMA's LinkedIn, website and YouTube channels. Depending on engagement and interest, additional videos may be released throughout the year. Format and Visibility:
•Short videos (2 - 3 minutes each), publicly available online.
